What is Anxiety Disorder?
During the time when humans had to hunt for their food the fight, flight and response helped us respond from facing danger. The fight, flight and freeze response that triggers a rush of adrenaline in the body. This internal alarm system that helps us respond when facing danger. Being anxious or nervous for giving a speech or before taking a test and your are examples of normal responses.
There are different types of anxiety disorders, overall anxiety disorders has share the same characteristics. According to the Cleveland Clinic (2023), an anxiety disorder goes beyond anxiety when it interferes your ability to function in daily life. Some may overreact when something triggers your emotions. People who suffer from anxiety may worry excessively about the present and the future; thinking about the "what ifs".
May people may feel more anxious because of social media or notifications on cellphones or computers.

Some Symptoms of Anxiety:
Feeling tense for no reason, on the edge and almost nervous.
Unable to sleep because of worry.
Unable to relax
Feeling shaky, restlessness and/or fidgety
Feeling tired/fatigue
Lack of concentration
Irritable for no reason
Breaking out in a cold sweat
Tips
Exercise/physical movement is beneficial. I am not talking about running a marathon. 30 minutes of walking outside can boost your mood.

Moving the body, for example going for a walk can help with calmness.

Play can reduce stress. Yes, play! Such as playing a game such as Pictionary or maybe Twister!
Relaxation exercises such as breathing exercises can be done while working or watching TV.
